Skipping Skills is based out of Boulder, Colorado and classes are currently offered in the Boulder Valley and St. Vrain Valley School Districts.
Typically classes are offered at Elementary Schools for one hour before or after school. Classes are one day a week and sessions usually run for 4 to 8 weeks. Single day classes for events (such as kicking off Jump Rope for Heart, during PTO meetings, etc) are also offered.
Ages 5 and up and all skill levels are welcome. Classes need a minimum of 8 kids.
Class description: Come join your friends, get some exercise, have fun, and learn jump rope skills! Jumpers will learn numerous single rope skills, a single rope routine to music, 2-person-1-rope, traveller, long rope, and double dutch. Jumpers will have the opportunity to be creative by inventing their own singles and partner routines. This program is designed to be fun, energetic and promote physical fitness as jump rope is one of the very best things you can do for your health! Whether you are an experienced jumper or just beginning, you are sure to learn a lot!
